Under the moonlight, the giant ginkgo tree was looking like he had silver leaves.
Under the silver tree we sat down on the silver grass, my Master and I.
I asked :
"Honourable, what is life ? I mean, is there a receipt to live a life that is really worth it?"
My Master smiled.
"When you are very hungry and there is plenty of fruits at your hand, son, do you really need a receipt to cook the fruits, or would you rather eat them rightaway ?"
I took a little while to think about it, then : "Sorry Honourable, I fear I don't clearly understand !" said I.
The Master of the Cold Mountain stood up, turned his back on me, headed to the Dragon's Palace in the dark. Before he walk through the gate, I heard him laugh, I heard him speak :
"Son, you're not hungry enough ! Fasting one more day will make it clear."
